Barrie and Sue - would like to welcome you to our site, we run a small B&B close to the military garrison at: Blandford camp.
The property is located at: No 8 Hambledon close, it is a five minute walk into town to visit local amenities.
The three rooms are on the first floor and share a stylish shower area with additional toilet facilities and breakfast room on the ground floor.
We are a short walk away from the market town of Blandford Forum, and are located on the main lane into the local military garrison of the “Royal School of Signals”.
The B&B is very competitively priced for the area and is ideal for guests who would wish to visit the garrison,walk the jurassic coastline or visit the many local attractions in the surrounding area.
Please use us as a base to enjoy the sights.
It may be that you want to visit a local conservation area, a military tank museum or the museum of the Royal School of Signals in the training garrison at Blandford Forum – or a trip to Weymouth where the 2012 olympic sailing events are to take place, there are established french and british markets in areas around Dorchester. The more adventurous can take part in paragliding training and water sports,windsurfing at sandbanks in Poole or at Kimmeridge bay,watch the tanks firing live ammunition at Lulworth firing ranges or visit the many local restaurants and great pubs, there is the possibility to go karting, visit the sea life aquarium, or go to the Poole shopping precincts and harbour areas, Poole pottery and fishing trips are an additional option, there are local golf courses, and the Moors valley adventure park.
The B&B has clean and private stylish areas within a family home, there is a friendly atmosphere, we have all the local brochures to enable you to make a choice as to what you wish to do on a particular day. There is a local fitness club with swimming pool available, if you are visiting a member of the armed forces and want to be close to the garrison we are at the bottom of the lane leading to the camp, there is an excellent local taxi service to hand with all the amenities close and accessible, the tower park complex in Poole has cinemas and bowling alleys.
The maximum number of guests would be five and we generally have no more than three as people take advantage of our sole occupancy concession price for the double and the twin, our B&B is ideally suited to visitors who wish to visit trainees during training or at graduation – or just dropping of the trainee after a period of leave, please check out our website and we think you will agree it is ideal for that short visit.
There are Italian, Chinese, Gurkha, Turkish ,and Indian restaurants with Pizza home delivery services.
